Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette (born Bernadette lazzara, 28 February 1948) Peters is an American singer-songwriter and author of children's literature from Ozone Park Queens New York. Her long career that spanned five decades. She has appeared in concert, released solo albums as well as appeared on TV. She's one of Broadway's most acclaimed performers. The actress was nominated to win seven Tony Awards (winning two), she also won the award of eight Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards were won for four Broadway album of casts that she appeared on. Peters began her career in the field of stage and screen acting when she was a young teenager. Her next move was into television and film during the 1970s. Alongside her roles in The Muppet Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and in other TV work she was also praised for her roles she had played in Annie and Silent Movie. In the 80s, her return to theater made her one of Broadway's best known performers for more than three decades. Peters has also recorded seven solo albums, and a number of singles. She has also recorded many cast albums, and is a regular performer in her solo concert act. Peters has continued to appear in films and TV as well as in films, and has received nominations and three Emmy Awards.
