Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his part in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. At the age of 18, he began to develop an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. His characters in television have gained him a lot of popularity. The actor has the ability to play characters from both the good and bad sides that are part of our legal system. He can attract the attention of his audience easily. He was the serial killer role in the first TV show he appeared in and then later played an NYPD detective. He was repeatedly nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is believed to be his piercing blue eyes. They are believed as a signature and help in portraying the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured him.
